There are few people better equipped to talk about mental health than your trainer, Lou O'Connell MBE. A qualified mental health nurse working in the NHS, following a 22-year career in the British Army, Lou brings a wealth of practical knowledge and experience that will directly help you.

Too many cases of poor mental health in the workplace go unrecognised. People either do not know it is happening or are just 'soldiering on'; some do not tell anyone until it becomes severe. Whilst many employers are now primed to spot signs of physical illness, mental health problems can be more difficult to identify.

This informative and interactive 90 minute webinar for communications professionals will give you an expert guide to mental health so you'll be prepared if you or a colleague start to struggle.

How will I benefit?

Your training begins by defining what is meant by mental wellbeing and then helps you to plan your personal route to better mental health.

You will learn to identify the early signs of decreased mental well-being, to establish an 'armoury' you can draw upon to help ease these symptoms yourself, and to acknowledge when you need extra support.

On completion of the course, you will feel armed and mindful to help manage your wellbeing and have the confidence to ask for help when needed.
