Managing Boundaries for Success in 2023

I love this quote.
For me, it encapsulates why boundaries are important. Not just to stop the kids next door from accidentally trampling the daffodils when they come in to get their ball back. But, in a professional context, to ensure that everyone knows where their responsibilities begin and end.
Boundaries increase productivity, prevent resentment and alleviate stress.
In short, good boundaries make healthy teams.
But... in PR, comms and public affairs, there's often an unspoken rule that we will all go above and beyond. All the time. We're actually quite good at it. Hell, we sometimes even pride ourselves on it.
But glorifying productivity is so dangerous. It's a recipe for future stress, overwhelm and burnout. So let's talk - openly - about boundaries!
