Menopause in the Workplace
How it can affect us, our work, and what to do about it
Training Overview
90-Minute lunch and learn webinar suitable for up to 500 people - or, half-day workshop for up to 12 people
Women in the workforce are working longer than ever before and approximately a third of the UK female population is either premenopausal or menopausal.
Most people have only a vague understanding of menopause and its physical and mental effects, as it's not something we're taught about in detail—100 years ago, not many lived to experience it. So, when perimenopause or menopause arrives, it's not always easy to recognise the early symptoms. Instead, it can be mistaken for other things, such as anxiety, unexplained lack of confidence and sometimes even a puzzling lack of drive in previously ambitious women.
For 8 in 10 women, menopausal symptoms significantly impact their work performance and output. This course will give your team an overview of menopause, its symptoms, what they can do about it, and how to provide support or ask for help.
